sorry to post in both mem and this forum but tis really frustrating
just flashed bios (to "latest" B6 version) and all me mem bandwidth has gone
Got a bios savoiur so can switch between old/new but, in both the bandwidth in around 2000.
With old bios, 180FSB, cas2.5 dram access 2 got 2400mb/s...
Can anyone think why its all gone?
Tried running 166,170,180 fsb no noticable increase.
Tried cas2, cmd1 up about 500mb/s (at 170FSB)
Tried just XMS stick, no difference.... goddamn! wish I'd never bothered now
strange, sticks will run Cas2, cmd1 on both bioses whereas it would hang before on the old one....
please help, just spent over 100quid (ram and savoir) and now worse off than before
Oh yeah 1 more thing, efficiency (both sets) is 70-74% which is VERY low (had 85-95 before) think this is the problem, and how do I solve it??
