Is My 400W Antec SmartPower guilty???

For some reason, i cant get passed 190MHz FSB no matter what on this mobo, i thought about the psu since its more than average but not that much of a beast, here are the volt averages:

3.3 3.2v
5 4.83v
12 12.23v

3.3 and 5 are low!!! why??? maybe because i have my tornado connected to the mobo thru my nexus multipanel? or are the pcouple of 7v moded 80mm case fans ive got guilty??

thnx in advance

I don't think it's your PSU and would be the 7v mods. Just my take as I'm running a TrueBlue 480 and my voltages are fine, with a Nexus but no 7v mod. But running a Pally 1600+ at 380FSB is pretty good. If you want more FSB I would go for a Tbred core and see what happens there since it runs at 1.65v not 1.75v base.
I could be wrong but I'm not so sure I am.

yes, im aiming for an athlon xp 1700 dl3tc, but if its needed i can also buy a better psu, since im building a second computer with this cpu and will overclock too... I was thinking about a 350w sparkle for the secondary comp and keep this one, hell its quiet. But if i need to i can buy the 530W true power and use this one for the other puter... whadaya thinK?

550 might be a bit much and I have to say the Blue LED light on the Antec TrueBlue 480W is very cool looking and works very well for my system. See specs below.

I have heard good things about Sparkle but have never owned one before. All I can say for sure is the more you add to your case, the more power you will use. Start ups is where the problems will come from, spinning up 2 HDDs a DVD, CD, 5-6 FANS CPU FAN, etc etc, mods lights, other addons all take juice.

Good luck whatever you get.

Yes it does.
I could be wrong but I do believe all the TruePower Series by Antec have an intake and exhaust fan.

Gotta love the blue...

Antec TrueBlue 480

Enjoy!!!
