Bandwidth??

**disclaimer** I have no real preference when it comes to AMD or Intel but as you can see from my sig...right now i'm an AMD kinda guy.

My highest Mem bandwidth with a somewhat stable system was 3500/3150 in sisoft.

I know P4's are bandwidth monsters so i was just wondering what they were getting

and what do the new 800mhz chips get

Let me just give an example taken from the Abit forum on a Canterwood mobo. This guy achieved a 14X240=3360 overclock using a 800 bus ES CPU. The memory ratio was set to 1:1 for DDR480 memory speed. Sandra memory benchmark scores were 5449/5354 (WOW).

I'll have my new IC7 mobo in a couple days (being shipped as I type), I'll post benchies from my 2.66/533 by the weekend. I'll be getting one of the 800 bus P-4 soon, so I'll post results for that within a couple weeks (I hope).

800MHZ chip should be able to get 5000+ in sandra.
