chieftec fan mounts

wondering if the chieftec case can take fan filters. i heard from someone else it cant because of the purple special snap on fan mounts, but then i hear people can use fan filters. if i took off the purple things are there screw holes? i mean i can do homemade and like stick a filter type thing under the front bezel, but its green, and it looks ugly as hell

I use the "hook " side of velcro tape on the flanges that run next to the grill, inside the bezel of my dragon. That will hold a piece of cheap, black, foam air conditioner filter (home depot, walmart).
