I just bought a 13GB HDD from a friend. I formatted and attempted to install slackware on a 5GB partition with a 1GB swap-partition. I rebooted my system, but now it won't boot. I went into the BIOS and I had to change the boot order just so that I could post this question Before the new HDD, my only HDD was set as HDD-0 in the BIOS. Now, the same HDD, is set as HDD-1. I haven't changed the location it's plugged into on the IDE cable, but for some reason it won't work When I was setting up the partitions using cfdisk, I set the 5GB to linux file system, and I added the "boot" flag. I set the 1GB partition to linux-swap file system, with NO boot flag. Can anybody help me out? I really want to be able to use slackware. I started playing with Knoppix-live last night, and I loved it I think I'm really going to love playing with linux

This is a question about the settings, not linux itself. So mods, please don't move this unless you think it can get a better response. Thanks
