Help with my RAM timings

I'm trying to find a middle ground between most aggresive and least aggresive timings for my new HyperX RAM. At 2-5-5-1, it crashes in games, but I'm sure that I could up it a little without worrying. What is a good comromise?

You might want to up that 1 timing a good bit. Start from a setting of 5.

Could you give more details - which HyperX RAM and at which frequency? Anyway, your timings look very strange. Typical setting for HyperX PC3000 RAM at 185MHz (370 MHz DDR) should be something like 2-2-2-6-1, that means following:

CAS# latency: 2.0
RAS# to CAS# delay (Trcd): 2
RAS# precharge (Trp): 2
Cycle time (Tras): 6
Cmd rate: 1

it's 512 PC2700

and I don't know what I was thinking when I wrote that post. At 2-2-2-5-1 it's flakey. Right know it's at 2-2-2-5-2 and seemingly stable (although I haven't been doing anything too strenuous with it lately).

Kingston HyperX memory requires 2.6V voltage for correct operation, while standard for PC2700 is 2.5V, try to adjust RAM voltage in the motherboard BIOS. If it doesn't help, try 2-2-2-6-1 timing, this should be faster than 2-2-2-5-2

Unfortunately, I can't adjust voltage settings on my mobo

but I'll try 22261.

thanks.
