Pausing F@H service.

How can I disable F@H service so I can run some tests? I am going to try to clock my system higher, but I don't want to start crunching bad data for stanford.

go to Control Panel -> Administrative Tools -> Services

in the list is Folding@Home. right-click it.

Stop, Pause, and Restart are all options.

hope that's what you were looking for.

oh wait....to disable it:

right click and go to Properties

there's combo box that says "Startup type:". one option is "Disabled".

Soy,

Can you translate what you typed? "Disable Folding" doesn't look like English to me and I'm not bi-lingual...

I don't think I've ever even seen those words in that order...

/confused

Wedo

P.s.

Hahahahaha....Yeah, as much as I'd hate to do it, I'd rather disable it than run it on an unstable system.
