MSI KT4V-L divider?

Can anyone tell em the divider of this board please?

Your dividers depend on your FSB speed... as the bus increases speed the divider will change... I don't recall the exact switching points off hand...

Bascially, it's like this (don't kill me if I'm wrong)

100-132: 1/3 divider
133-165: 1/4 divider
166+: 1/5 divider

Well anyway, 1/5 is the highest divider it has.

one correction - the 1/5 divider kicks in around 153 or so.

ok.... so whats the highest FSB i can get too? 166mhz?

Whatever your cpu, HDD, RAM and PCI cards, etc will allow you to. The board itseld can go as high as 280, but I doubt you will ever come close to that... I had it running 179 the other day on my pc (multiplier of 10x) but the system was unstable and crashed.

38mhz * 5 = 190

i can get to 190FSB without my HD bombing out on me?

I didn't try anything over 188.

All setups are different... you never quite know what a system will do until you start changing settings... just be carefull and go slow... you don't want to have to reinstall windows :< }((
