4 Line serial LCD query...

I've been looking around for ways to connect a 4 line LCD to my serial port, so I can show temps etc. but having seen the process, i'm now a little daunted by the soldering task ahead.
does anyone know of someone, or somewhere I can get this done for a fair price?

Also, If you use one, could you post a pic or point me to a thread so I can get some visuals.

Cheers Geezahs.

Never done this myself, but...

CrystalFontz Does this heavily.... Don't think its a very reasonable price, however you'll get what you need with ease.

Hope that helps?

Just a question with these. I was looking at some of the matrix orbitals and was wonder if this would effect system performace at all?
