I have just done my first overclock sl-75frn2-l 190 x 11.5 default voltage, temps were 34c cpu and 29c rt1, the problem I have is the memory I think, I started with very relaxed timings 7 3 3 2.5 got to 175 fsb and failed mem test.
I then increased the vdimm to 2.6 ok then until I got to 186 fsb so upped it again 2.7 still failed so relaxed the timmings more 7 6 6 2.5 ok with memtest got to 190 but failed to complete 3D 2001 SE, the memory is ocz 3200 rev 2 any thoughts, also when overclocking can you start at were you left off or do you have to work up again gradually from default? thanks.
