I have Corsair Platinum 512mb stick of PC2700 memory and my memory timings are at 8-3-3-2.5 runningat 186FSB. My memory voltage is set at 2.7v.

From reading other post's people get lower memory timings however for some reason I can't. If i change to CAS2 system just doesn't boot.

Anyone shed some light on why? Any mysterious settings that seem to work?

If you have your memory ratio at 1:1, then I'd say you did good to get 372 MHz out of RAM that's only rated DDR333. Sounds like you need faster RAM if you want more... or maybe try a little higher vdimm?
