Strange Apple pen

I have this Apple pen here, and I haven't seen it at redlightrunner.com, which is the only place I know of that sells Apple/Macintosh stuff, and has a nice archive of collectible items. I've spoken to an old Apple friend and he thinks that it might be one of the pens that came with the original iMacs. Here's a link to a pic of it:

If anyone knows what era this pen is, please tell me.

Thanks
C.P.

Haha. I was actualy thinking of selling it and getting some cash to get myself a new CPU cooler. Apple pens and go for prices from $10 - $50 if rare enough.
