Abit IC7-G SATA Problems

I have recently set up my new system and can not seem to get the serial ATA150 to work.
I have maxtor 60gig 133ATA hard drive.
The board’s instructions says that any hard drive over 100ATA will be compatible with the serial converter.

Has anyone had similar problems like mine? is there anyone who can give me a few pointers?

update to bios 11.

I tried updating the bios to 1.1 but it would not boot up, i dont evrything in the correct method.

Is there any thing i may have missed?

This may be a stupid answer but take the disk that came with it and load those. I'm having problems with mine, but mine is getting is to recognize all 200 mb of my hd.
