S-video ?


hi, could some1 simply tell me what the output S-Video on a digital camcorder is for ?

it's for outputting an S-video signal to a VCR, TV, or anything that has an S-Video input.

It's been a while, but if memory serves, S-Video is the same as a regular vid signal, only with the chroma and lumen signals separated, so you get a cleaner sharper picture.
