is "value select" by Corsair any good???

I ordered a 512mb stick of Corsair cuz it was on sale at 55 bones from new egg. As it turned out it says "valuse select" corsair vs512mb333 0319051. Does that mean its sh**ie or what???

its CAS 3, not CAS 2.5 or CAS 2
