Thought I would report to you all that all the new HP-Compaq models that are using the Springdale boards [330 Micro Tower/530 Mid Tower/530 SFF in two versions] and Canterwoods [4100 Workstation] are using Asus motherboards.
All are built with [in different options] 2.4/2.6/2.8.3.0/and a few 3.2 800mhz CPUs and for now use PC2700 memory. Makes all of us here kind of laugh because out in the corporate world PC3000 and above still is lacking an OFFICIAL standard.
One kind of neat thing is I get to see the new 800mhz FSB PIV Hyperthreaders in every speed daily by the thousands.
