I' m moving soon and the place we had picked out is ready for T3, but now they "my parents" wanna move out to the country , I don't think I can go back to 56k

You did not use enough "o".
Can you use satelite for decent bandwidth...altho is sux for gaming...

i refuse to go back to 56k. for the past few moves the first thing i check is if the house can get highspeed internet, if i get that then nothing else matters

Well you could get broadband via a satelite dish if you were that desperate for it

I feel you're pain. I'm on dial-up at home but we've got broadband at work so I just do the majority of my surfing there .

You might also look into wireless. Around here, we have what's called Look, I havn't tried it, but it's line of sight microwave, apparently really fast (high install costs tho).

I can't imagine life without HSIA (high speed internet access)
