what are the chances we could get this implemented here

I've had a couple of those. My thread asking for a WOL mod for my NIC comes to mind, but I know that there were others.
If we do this, we might want to look for threads with one unique poster, in case the thread starter feels the need to bump his own thread.

a poll would work if it wasnt up to skip

but all great changes come threw his skipness

i would like to see what he thinks about this

benifit vs. the pain in the assness of implementing it

Skip makes all the decisions.... But if you were to donate $10000 to the forums, I'm sure Skip would be willing to listen to a few suggestions...

I know that the final decision is up to skip, but he's often responsive when there's a significant demand for a change. A poll would show him how many people are interested in the change. If it's too much of a PITA to implement, he'll tell us.

That's a hack for vBulletin 2.3 and above. When I upgrade, we'll see about doing it.

what exactly does doing the next upgrade of vbulletin do? is it really worth all the extra time it takes to write all the customized code?
