I am kinda interested in the Kingston HyperX since it seems to be the most economical of the good brands. However, I have a question with their ratings, they have the following speeds:
PC2700-333MHz: 2-2-2-5-1 PCB height: 1.200"
PC3000-370MHz: 2-2-2-6-1 PCB height: 1.200"
PC3200-400MHz: 2-2-2-6-1 PCB height: 1.250"
PC3500-434MHz: 2-3-3-7-1 PCB height: 1.200"
Now, aren't they all the same with just different timing? It sure looks like at least 2700 and 3000 are the same. Shouldn't I just buy the 2700 and OC it myself to PC32000 values?! I don't wanna run over 200FSB and I am thinking of doing around 185-190FSB at most. So, do I really need the 3200 or 3000?
What about just getting a pair of Samsung 2700s? Is anyone running them at 185 or more in dual mode?
