15C drop

hey i got my temps 15C lower. and also without using AS3 just tat crap white goop
before:
ambient 32C
idle 53C/55C

after:
ambient 32C
idle 40C

think it will go lower if i use AS3? is it the lowest drop for a aircooled system?

hehe...
errr
vantec tornado 80mm
6 iCUTE fans 80mm (low range)
SLK800 lapped
120mm evercool fan

made a blowhole and used 120mm evercool
lapped the slk800
cut out the grills on the generic case(spaces were too small)

its not something special... just telling ya

but will it go lower with the AS3?

Maybe, but you'll probably see more of a diff between mounts than the paste. I've gotten up to 3C variance from one mount to the next using the same paste, so it's hard to tell if it was the AS3 or just a good mount. Everyone seems to think it's the greatest so give it a try.

You generally see 1C or less between quality white paste and AS3 if both are applied correctly and the sink makes good contact in both cases.
