Just read an article saying the default voltages of any given processor can be different based on the quality of there die. With the better ones haveing a lower voltage. Just curious does anyone know the range of like a 2.8c the low to high range the factory delivers? Mine has a default set @ 1.568 was just curious on how that falls into the quality standard if the above is true.

the newer multi-vid P4 stock voltage ranging from 1.475~1.55v a "standard" v.core on P4 is 1.525v. however, from what it looks like, "stock v.core" doesn't affect OC as much.... some with 1.55v oc higher than those lower 1.475v. sometimes it's the other way around too.

it's purely mean it could run at stock speed at that voltage only.
