MechWarrior 3

Is there a way to get MechWarrior 3 to run on a win 2k machine?

I don't exactly remember what I did, but I'm pretty sure it wasn't any more complicated than installing and playing.

What problem are you having?

I remember when I had that game. What service pack do you have?

I've got the latest Service Pack and have the game patched to version 1.21 (methinks) and it works fine.

all you need to do is put the win 2k cd in the drive open the serch menue and type in A it will find a load of thing but the one you want is called acompant or sommat open it and click the browse butten find the mw3 exe on the cd ok it then click win 98 compatability tab then ok acompant and it will install simple as that << dosent matter on thje service pax >>
< if the acompat proggie pop's up an error just ok it it will work fine

I have SP2, I will try what Dweller said.
