Desert Combat Help

I finally got BF1942 again after selling it some 5 months ago. So i installed it, and updated the patch to 1.4

now i read that 1.4 does not work with DC .35e which is what i downloaded. so i got the 1.2 patch for bf1942, installed that, then i installed Desert Combat .35e

Now whenever i connect to a server it tells me I have the wrrong version and need to update. Should i reinstall BF1942 from scratch then update to 1.2 or what?

I believe you need 1.31 to play dc .35e right now, the guys at dc are working on a patch to support 1.4 as we speak.

i heard from someone that if you reinstall bf1942 and then 1.4 that you can install .35 over it and it still works.

haven't tried it myself yet though.

my desert combat works with the 1.4 patch...what's it supposed to do or what?

i hate patch 1.4.
