Trying to find out success of overclocking the higher end AMD chips. If you have a 2500+ or above and have overclocked please post results and indicate what type of cooling and if you have modded anything.

Thanks!!!

My 2500+ is now running perfectly stable on my MSI kt3 ultra2 at 184*12=2214mHz. I have not even thought about changing the voltage as it has so far been unnecessary. My cooling is one 80mm exhaust fan at the back, a 120mm side intake fan, and stock HSF. Temps read 40-41c under full load.

check out my sig...tonight we are installing the pelt 226w:D
we should be able to get alot more....
radman

200x10.5 (2100 Mhz) at stock voltage and SLK900U with AS3. Doing Prime95 all night to see if its stable.

2500+ running at 1980 11x180 :(
not very stable after that
it could be because I have a burner, dvd, 2 hard drives, 2 case fans and a tornado running at 5 volts all on a 350 watt enermax psu

I only tried the tornado at 12 volts once and everything got really unstable.

I guess I have to upgrade my power :(

barton 2500 AQXCA @11.0 x 200 = 2.2
vcore = 1.80
swiftech water cooled
Msi K7n2 delta ILSR
Corsair XMS pc3200 @ 2.7v 6,3,3,2

My cpu seems to like alot of voltage, i can boot windows @ 11.5x200 but get BSOD shortly afterwards.

AQXDA 0314 MPMW

200x11 @ 1.65V (default)
200x11.5 @ 1.725V
200x12 @ 1.85V

Stable with prime95, 36 hours each. :D

I'm running at 2.2 right now just because of the lower voltage.

BTW, it's with a SLK-800 with a Delta.

Running prime right now...........

And so far my 2500 is at 206x11,wcpuid shows 2273 mhz.Vcore is at 1.775 and vdimm is 2.8 with slk-800.

Just modded my system a little more, added 1 more stick o/d corsair 3200 xms and 36 gig WD raptor SATA 150 hd @ 10k rpm w/ 8meg buffer.

Can't keep this system stable at basic settings, let alone o/c.

Went from a FX 5600 256 meg vid card, back to my old TI 4200 128 meg @ 8x vid card. Going to Fry's this week and get either the 5900 or the 9800 (depending on what is released).

stay low-tweak high--

i read somewhere the AQXCA is the stepping for 3200+ and that eventually the 2500+ would be getting the same stepping, when i buy my barton 2500+ it will definetly be a AQXCA

aqxca0311, 192x11, 1.725 - 1.75vcore. Also can do 12x175. I can boot at 11x200, but Prime95 indicates errors. Couldn't get there w/o active NB and passive SB cooling though. No vdd mod yet.
