Who's Barton 2500+ is unstable at 400FSB?

Just got a new a7n8x-deluxe 2.0 and I can't get it running stable at 200mhz x 10 = 2000mhz. This Barton can run stable at 12 x 166mhz = 2000mhz on the a7v333.

Other details are:
A7n8x2.0 Deluxe 2.0
2 x Samsung Original DDR400, Dual channel mode, running "By SPD" (3-3-3)
Coolmaster HHC-001 fan.
CPU temps were 58C core, 43C Socket, 29C motherboard(with prime95 running)

Prime95 gives up after about 5 mins with calculation error.
Occasionally I get some random reboots.
Also, the system hangs occasionally when I'm scanning CDs using Nero CD speed.

I can run stock speed 166x11=1833 with aggressive settings stable.

This may sound kind of dumb, but try running at 12x166 on your A7N8X just to make sure its nothing like the core voltage being set wrong or anything. If Prime95 passes fine, then you can be sure that everything's fine with the processor and motherboard. I'd do this, because your temps seem precariously high. In this case, try going back to 10x200, but trying running your ram in a 6/5 ratio. If it runs stable at this, it means that your memory is the limiting factor.

i'd also check to make sure your heatsink is installed correctly and that it is making full contact with the cpu (at least to cure those high temperatures). i just got mine yesterday and it runs stable at 200mhz IF i give it a little extra juice, mine won't do 2.2ghz (11x200) on stock voltage, at least not yet (haven't burnt in). at 1.725v it runs prime all night without any errors. so if you haven't messed with your vcore yet, that may be an issue.

Mine ran 200 fine, in fact it went to 215 no problem. It probably had more but I ran out out of cooling.

yeah i don't think this 80mm fan i have is up to par with the slk 900U...i think i need a 92mm or something. it was good for the p4 cooler it was previously on, but it can't hang with the big AMD boys

I'd definately look into better cooling for that barton, before getting any better OC out of it.
