Trying to get my Creative SBlive 5.1 to run in dos...Help!

OS is Win98
Went to Creative's website for info and found this...

[Our Advice
If your card is working fine in Windows, but doesn't work in Windows 9x Dos Mode, try the following:

Restart your system in DOS Mode and type the following:

CD c:\progra~1\creative\sblive\dosdrv and press Enter
From here, you will be able to run a number of DOS utilities:
To initialize the card for use in DOS Mode, run SBEINIT.COM]

At this point I get the following error message...

(ERROR Config File is incomplete
SBport
Creative SB16 Emulation Driver NOT loading)

I assume I have to add a line to config.sys...but I do not know what...

Why are you using DOS in the first place?
I have never used it ever since I got Windows 95.

I cant remember when the last time I played with creative soundcards in DOS was

Good question...I have an emulator for sega genesis...and the sound requires dos
