Corsair 3200LL or 3500C2

I am looking into some new ram for a system and have narrowed down to 2 choices. 3200 low latency and 3500 Cas 2. They are as follows.

3200LL: 2-2-2-6
3500C2: 2-3-3-7

to me the 3500 is just oc'd 3200LL w/ relaxed timings. 2-256 sticks of 3500C2 are like $4 more than 2-256 Twinx of 3200LL @ newegg.

Anyone have experience w/ any of these sticks or recommendations?

i would be inclined to agree with you. both the xms3200LL and the xms3500-C2 use the same 5ns winbond chips (5ns = rated for 400mhz operation). it seems to me that the two memory modules are exactly the same, but are "guaranteed" and "tested" to run at their respective speeds and timings.

i would be very surprised if the xms3200LL could not run 2-3-3-6 timings@433mhz and if the xms3500-C2 could not run 2-2-2-6 timings@400mhz. i would get the xms3200LL though, particularly if it's cheaper and you can get the 3200LL-PT with the platinum coloured heat-spreaders :P
