Intel P4 Temp?

I am folding of course and it is rather hot outside. so i am just checking if 51C (123F) is too hot for a P4@1500mhz not overclocked?

maybe a little high but still within specs.. start to get worried if you see it hit 60c

That's ok considering it is under high stress.

I have a mobile P-4 in my dell lappy (see sig), and it runs at like 55-60 degrees while folding, and sometimes hits 70.

51C is fine for a P4 running at stock (esp. a Willamette).


The P4-Ms supposedly have higher thermal tolerances, although you can still get them to fail under full load in an 85F room.
