TV Tuner FAQ anyone?

Does anybody know where I might find a TV Tuner faq? The information I'm looking for is mainly the difference between the different chipsets, capabilities, etc.... This doesn't need to be broken down by brand or specific card (though that would be nice). I'm looking at getting another one, but I'm trying to decide if I want to get a cheap one or save and get a newer one. I've been to a couple of sites, but they don't seem to have been updated in a couple of years.... Thanks.
