Intel P4's multipliers locked

how can i unlock the p4's multipliers? i wanna overclock to the max...

You cannot unlock the P4's multiplier. Sorry

If you want to overclock a P4 chip you have to raise the FSB.

FSB * Multiplier = Clock speed.

so raising the FSB will overclock it. Just to let you know, this question does get asked often.

WTF!?!?! Now im really surprised. I saw a post like this once and im like "ok, so 1 person doesnt know." But then almost a dozen people asked this.. I thought it was common knowledge. I think i knew this the day i entered into "the world of overclocking."

If intel's werent mult locked, then they might overclock by 2ghz on average! 2.5 if youre lucky!

well he is new so give him a break but maybe we need a flash intro saying UNLOCKEDABLE MULTIPLYER

whenever someone comes in the intel section.
