mixing RAM (pc2100 with 3500/3700?)

Is it possible to mix different RAM like that

eg 2100 w/ 3500 and above?
because i want to overclock a 512 mb stick of corsair xms 3500, but i have a leftover generic 256 mb stick of RAM

is it possible to put em together and get better results, or should i just leave it be

you can try and mix em together, the chances of that pc2100 running at the same speed is highly doubtful let alone overclock it past that.

you surely wont get good results, infact you may not be able to mix them at all, i dont think thats the case, however i do know you DONT want to do that.
