Question wot would u do?

hello, im trying to make the best of this chip P4 2.66, 533, SL6EH. I have it on an asus p4s8x(nightmare) mb,which "HAS TO GO". Ive been lookin in these forum pages for a few days and come up with these options based on what ive read,i just need to check im not missing anything this time!! what would u buy? 1.asus P4P800 =95.00 +CORSAIR TWINX XMS 3200 =131.00 = TOTAL=226. or 2.asusP4PE =61.00 +CORSAIR XMS 3500 - 512 =122 = TOTAL=183 I know u get upgrade to 800mgz with option 1 but wont motherboards have moved on again in say 6month,s time , when i will build a new rig? just wont to get the" pro out the proc" now cheap as i can!! difference in terms of money is 43 , but also to consider with option 1 , is will 533fsb proc be wasted with the twinx !! their close in money terms but what,s best for this chip? please advise unsparingly, thanks. TOP-LOADER!!!!!!!!!!! could have put this in the memory, motherboard or cpu section hope here,s the right place!!!

If you've got to buy memory anyway might as well get an 865 board. I'd get the Buffalo PC3200 as it uses the BH5 chips the Corsair 3500 uses and is cheap. Unfortunately newegg is out of stock on the 256MB version of this module, if you can wait till they get more 95+43+43=181 is my idea of value.

I also read on Corsair's message board that Winbond has stopped making the BH-5 modules, and will begin making the 4ns variety in the near future. -Helloooo PC4000!!!
That was from one of the Corsair technicians, but he/she didn't say when they would start production.

I cruised over to Winbond's website and found nothing about the new 4ns stuff, so apparently it hasn't been formally announced yet.

I must agree with larva...

if you need a new mobo, just get the springdale.
you can always plop a early prescott cpu in it when it comes out.
no need to buy an other mobo at that time, and the buffalo memory should be great.

may I also sugjest the IS7 from abit. it may be cheaper. lots of people have had good luck with them.
