Have seen people putting 1.8v+ through their 1700's on the KX7, however, mine maxes out at 1.75v (overvolt to 1.8) do I need a modded bios to get higher Vcore voltages? Would love 2.3ghz stable, but need 1.8v or higher...

No mod the socket with a wire jumper, now my Tbred (on the same board) has upto 1.85 available in the bios.

After looking at the other threads I was wondering what was the gauge of the wire used to make the jumpers? Strands of wire or solid wire, please clarify someone. Thanks alot. I have the same board. xp1600 running at xp1800

I had an old case speaker and cut a small lenth off one of its cables (multi core) and used a single strand of that. Don't know the gauge.
