9800 pro or Geforce FX 5900?

Loooking for a nice card to get myself maybe for christmas. What one should i get, or should i want for the next round of cards to come out?

Christmas!? If it's gonna be Christmas you aren't gonna want a 9800Pro or 5900U. By then they won't be top of the line.

R9800 has the better IQ but if all u want is good benchmarks u should get the 5900

for benches get the 5900 for awesome good looking gameplay get the 9800
