Hi all,
I plan on buying a Abit NF7-S v2.0. It has DualChannel DDR 400 mhz and I'm getting 2*256 mb Corsair pc 3700 CAS 2 sticks which run at 466 mhz if I'm not mistaken...
How will the modules react on the mobo? I'm just asking to see if it won't harm the mobo... my guessing is that the modules will just run slower, right?
Thx

yes, the memory will just run at the lower speed. faster ddr memory is backwards compatible with the lower speed versions. what the 466mhz on your memory means is that you can overclock your memory up to those speeds (233fsb). and there is no problem of the memory harming the mobo.
