wow i was running my mem in dual channel 199x12 and the computer wouldn't boot at 200 so now i put it in single channel and it boots so im testing now how long i can go up.

do i loose a lot of speed in single chl but with higher fsb?

which one should i run single with higher fsb or dual in lower fsb??

I saw a test on the internet a while ago (don't know where) about dual chan vs single chan. Dual chan was faster at low fsb speeds but the higher they set the fsb the less difference there was between single and dual chan.

run duel lower fsb - overall performance is better than single higher fsb

yes you can reach higher fsb in single - thats very very true :D

Wolf: AMD or intel? If it's AMD, you lose almost nothing by going single channel. With intel, though, you lose a lot.
