Had to drop my oc's down a tad. The dog days of summer are upon us here in Okiehoma. The A/C worked its butt off to keep the house at 80f yesterday. The machines didnt show any signs of stress, but I did,, It was damn hot!!! With the grandkids running in and out. There mother and 2 aunts ( my daughters) close behind, two doors where open more than closed. So to play it safe , the p4 2.0 @ 2.9 is down to 2.8 and the xp1700 @ 2.101 is down to 2.08. With these drops i hope the machines will hold untill I get the central w/c system going. Would hate to think that the machines would be throttling down or shuting down while Im at work or in a drunk stuper....

Happy crunching

I know exactly what you mean. To save electricity I turn my AC up to 80 in the morning before I leave for work and my main box got a bit overheated the other day and rebooted itself around 1 or 2 in the afternoon. Ceiling fan was off too that day so that didn't help.

Yes good old summer is here. To save on my electric bill I had to cut the AC back to 80 in my office. That means no more P4 @3500. I had to back it down to 3300

We have a boss crew here firing up c class machines and us intel heads cant wait for prescot..... Hammer has been a 5 year lie...... Come on intel...... lay some smoke we will follow. I would rather loose 1.5 units every 2 weeks than loose 8 in a hot day... This team is great!!!! every unit counts,,,, so lets get them folks.... lets get them.... the race we have been wanting is before us. WINK!!!! lets gig them frogs....lololo

LOL, that's exactly the reason why i sell out my home farm and replace them w/ a few high quality P4s. 'cos no matter what, my AC just can't keep the room cold enough when have 10machines (12cpus) in the same room. and w/ daytime temp set to 80, i've see the mobo temp rose to 40C last summer, now try to imagine what kinda cpu temp they were having on those air cooled machines!!
