sony dru-500a or TDK 440N ?!?

hey guys-

im a newbie to dvd burning but doing lots of research- wanted everyones thoughts and opinions on these 2 drives Sony DRU-500A and the TDK 440N- the both do all available formats and priced about the same ( on pricewatch anyway) just wondering if anyone has used these or heard anything abou them-
