Do i HAVE to flash the BIOS to Overclock a 9700np?

I am trying to decide whether to get a 9700PRO or non pro, and I have read differing accounts on whether I will need to flash the BIOS in order to o/c the nonpro version. So, whats the story?

I believe so, the BIOS on the NP locks the clock speeds, so you have to change the BIOS to be able to increase them. Also, it is really easy to flash the BIOS, I just did it on my 9700np.

yes the hard part is figuring out which of the bios' will work the best for you, and the luck part is making sure you have good enough ram for the bios flash to work without artifacting.
