I've got a server, but currently i don't have a fixed IP yet.. So i'm still using no-ip.com to replace my IP. But i'll get a fixed IP later.. If I do will I be able to make a .com web site without no-ip.com?
For instance currently my web is like http://name.no-ip.com later when i get fixed IP I can either use http://XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX for my web, but can i translate the IP numbers into alphabet without the aid of Dynamic IP address?
Thanks :D

oooo cooooool thanks :p.. but.. I have one more question.. so my alpha-number ip is.. pcd600068.netvigator.com
where netvigator.com is my ISP how do i get rid of netvigator.com and get a domain, is there a dns configure software like no-ip.com but doesn't need THEM to update my IP?

You cannot do that. This is called reverse DNS. You have to OWN the IP address to be able to change it's reverse DNS. And in order to own IP's you must have something like a T1 with a full C-Class of IP's.

You have 2 choices, live with it like it is, or call your ISP and beg them to change the reverse DNS for your IP. Chances are they will tell you your SOL.

Another reason why hosting a website on a cable modem is lame. Especially with the prices of webhosting. Good hosting can be found for 7 bucks a month.
