An Ode to the Folding Fanatic

I hope this doesn't offend anyone(espeacially the mods)

Why do we fold?
Because we're bold?
We're getting old?
Or digging for gold?

!!OF COURSE NOT!!

We fold for various reasons
As varied as the seasons
We think it's a good cause
Or maybe just"Because"

Or maybe it's for the race
And we borg like mad to keep the pace
Scrounging for this or that part
To practise our Arcane Folding Art

Maybe the crazy grin on our face
When we gain a higher place
And we feel real keen
Cause we did it with one machine

Or because we're almost in tears
Beset by unknown fears
Tending all those mobo's in rows
As our farm slowly grows

And we worry like hens with chicks
Listening to the whirs and clicks
As our pc's hum madly along
Singing the folding song

Or we wake one morning to find
That Murphys been very unkind
Cause there's been a major glitch
That makes us begin to twitch

We stare with a frown
A pc has gone down
And we mutter and groan
Then aloud begin to moan

And we tinker and tweak
Cause we're a folding freak
Because when all is told
This pc just has to fold

We stop surfing and gaming
All the while proclaiming
I've got to find more MHZ!
Tweak that machine until it hurts

We squeeze, then squeeze some more
Always looking for the perfect core
Seeking faster and faster parts
To up the pace of the folding arts

We let our minds wander
Staring at our pc's in wonder
Thinking one we'll find
A massive mainframe of some kind

To turn into a folding"THING"
A real monster of the folding ring
Then our mind comes back to hear
The Elephant trumpet loud and clear

It's back to work I fear
Get your lazy butts in gear
Because when alls told
Those pc's just have to fold
