Can you just uninstall the nForce IDE drivers from WinXP or do you need to do a complete removal of the nForce drivers (is this possible)?
I'm having terrible issues with InCd and the nForce IDE drivers crashing the system and want to switch back to the XP IDE drivers.
Thanks

Very easy to just remove the ide drivers. You dont even have to install them. During the installation of the drivers it will ask you if you want to install them, say no. But if you have just go to start > control > system > hardware tab > device dmanager > IDE/ATA ATAPI Controllers then hit the plus and remove the Nvidia ones. It will revert to standard ones.
