I have an Asus P4P800 Deluxe motherboard, and a Lian-Li PC-60 case. The pins on the USB connection from the front side are differenly labeled than those on the USB connection to the motherboard. Does anybody have a translation for these so I can get them hooked up correctly? Thanks

i was wondering this too , but i got a nf7-s

theyre labeled diff on both

just been too lazy to ask lol

connections outline

from the front USB port, connections are:

SHIELD
VCC 1
DATA-1
DATA+1
GND 1

(that's the 1st cable, of 2)

cable 2:

VCC 2
DATA-2
DATA+2
GND 2

Motherboard Connections:

for USB 5:

USB+5V
USB_P5-
USB_P5+
GND

for USB 6:

USB+5V
USB_P6-
USB_P6+
GND
NC

Also, where would I connect the "SHIELD" from the case front USB? Would it go to NC?

Thanks for your help

well, we definatly know about the "gnd" that seems to be the only thing that is consistant. put the data- in the usb P(5 or 6) -
but the vcc 2 in the voltage+5v, and put the data + in theusb P(5 or 6)+

it really is pretty simple they all just kindof have a little difffferent wording. if you look at it a while you wil see a patern ;)

good luck!

front USB to Motherboard

Cable - USB 5
VCC 1 = USB+5V
DATA-1 = USB_P5-
DATA+1 = USB_P5+
GND 1 = GND

Cable - USB 6
SHIELD = NC (it's just another ground)
VCC 2 = USB+5V
DATA-2 = USB_P6-
DATA+2 = USB_P6+
GND 2 = GND

This should be ok for you.
