I am searching for some good memory to put into a Asus P4p800 motherboard and I ran accross a pretty good deal for Geil 3700 gold memory. Anyone know anything about them or use them?

Thanks!

They are good, but I heard its more luck then anything else.

Go with twinmos or corsair if you want a garanteed speed.

I have some TWINX512-3200LLPT if you are interested, PM me if so.

I've heard of GeIL sticks only being able to get to 200 (or a little over)... Probably not the best for max overclocks.

im running a stick of pc3500 ultra platinum 512 mb at 280 fsb stable...

BUT
IT WONT RUN AT 2,3,3,6 >_< liek advertised, only 2.5,3,3,6

we will see

cheers

damn, abit boards only go up to 2.8V, and thats what i use..

i would lke to see some 3.0V though :(

cheers

Been running two sticks of 512mb PC3200 Ultra Geil for awhile now. As soon as I get my unlocking kit and get my water back on I'm going to start pushing it.

i know that corsair and OCZ stuff is really good but this does like high voltage to run good. maybe up to 3.0VDIMM, but i definatly would not go above that.

I am not that good at ram timings yet, but those seem a little...rough? :(
