I just added another 256 mb of ram into my 8100... is there anything i need to do or set besides put it into the slots? thanks (i know rd sucks, but my new comp will have ddr :D)

Well you can't really do any tweaking of the ram on a dell (as far as I know!) so yeah pretty much just put it into the slots and forget about it.

The old dell I am using right now uses rdram (2x256mb.) I certainly can't change any settings on it, and its really way to fast for my processor anyways (hey, I was a newb when I bought it, and shelled out the extra $$ because it was supposed to be so *fast!*)
