My blower....1/40th HP

I assume this means it is as strong as 1/40th horse power.

With means it only uses about 20watts, is this correct?

20watts for 150cfm, does that sound right?

Yes you are correct it is 1/40 of a horsepower. To find wattage take volts*amps. I believe that is the forumula. I had a 1/10 horse blower that produced 235 cfm of air and used 154 watts of electricity.

1 HP is about equal to 750 watts.

In a perfect world that is. So, 19 watts, you are correct. Sounds about right, though I'd guess it's closer to 25 watts because some energy is lost as heat.

Awesome, thanks...I was worried about my electric bill, but if its less then 1/2 of a lightbulb, then I am fine
