Hello all,
I recently purchased a new Enermax EG365P-VE FC power supply(this is my second one). I intend to use it with my old gateway performance 550 machine, running an intel PIII 550 processor. I am confused as to whether this new power supply will work with an older processor such as the PIII. The PS box states that it is ATX 2.1 and ATX 12V Version 1.2 compatible. Will this thing work or should i send it packing?? :D Sorry i cannot provide more detailed info, as i only have access to a 56k modem over the summer.(Actually, its more like a 14k with all the line interference!!) Any help would be greatly appreciated.
