Intel CPUs differences from Plant to Plant

well I see alot of people after certain chips made by certain plants and batch numbers ect... Could someone explain why certain ones are better overclockers on avg. Also what is the best P4 chips to go after assembled at what plant. Say a 2.4c just for arguements sake.

For your example of the 2.4c, I don't think the conclusion has been made yet, but looking at the database there seems to be more Malaysian ones at the top compared with the Costa Rican ones.

At this time there's about 36 Malay's compared with only 19 Rica's. This just might only mean more people have the Malay CPU's right now.

Can't say why certain batches or plants are better, other than they get better yeilds at certain times so more higher speed chips are tossed down into the lower speed bins.
