This is in no way ment to be a political debate. Just wonder what plans ppl have for the money from Uncle Sam.

I am salivating for a new rig. Something NF2 with high quality ram and a 2100 or better Athlon+. The 1700tbreds I have now are fun to play with but I want more cpu power. I dont do games so vid cards are not high up on my list. HHHMMMM maybe a dually.

I'm not expecting anything big... but if I do see a nice check it's going into a nice NF2 board and a cheap barton. There's only so much you can do with a watercooled pally 2000... and an unoverclockable Asus A7N266VM mATX board .

A duallie rig. MSI & heavily modded Tbred-B or Bartons.

I'm weary of all the yellow folders that keep passing me up. Then I could be a yellow too and run over all the other greenies on the rainbow stat pages.

must of been a small check to just get The Frozen Throne. probably $10,000.00 canadian. that'd leave you with a little bit after buying that game.

If I get one - Bank account is a bit low. I'll just pop it in there to cover myself for bills, etc...

I could use a better vid card though, but that can wait 'til HL2.

Edit: Oh - it has to do with kids? Well, then I'm not gettin a cent! Thankfully This thread is the first I've heard of it. After Bush got into office, I don't pay attention to anything the govt. does anymore.

Hookers and Beer!

And get your mind out of the gutter...I drive an 86' Camaro and Hooker happens to be one of the most popular headers on the market. The beer is to help me install the headers. =)

Gutter? I take offense to that! I have to take the escalator to the elevator to get up to the gutter..... sheesh...

omg... you mean you not only have to pay for the hooker, but get it drunk first?! I thought I was the only one that had to do that.........................

I wish I even knew whether or not I would be getting something or not. Would be pretty nice, but I dont expect anything from our wonderful gov...

*sigh*

It was $52. I'm not complaining, either way.

when I got mine back in early march I bought a 21" Sony trinitron monitor with it
The leftover ($100) just went into my car loan.

Actually I think he is talking about the tax credit us parents are getting here shortly. I expect $800 (two kids).

The wife wants to fix the hot tub. I don't see the point in that as we live in Florida...it's hot enough as it is without climbing into a pot of boiling water. I told her that I would fix it as soon as she invited no less than 3 of her girlfriends over to join us.

So either the hottub isn't going to get fixed or it is and it will be worth it.

I'm going to buy a snorkel for my truck. We went looking for sharks teeth this past weekend in the swamps and it was decided that I definetly need a snorkel for the deeper water.

And I'm buying a riding lawnmower and a power hedge trimmer.

Yea I believe it is called the "child tax credit." GW raised the deduction (credit) amount per child and made it retroactive. Checks started going out late last week I believe. This credit is only for ppl who made 20k to 100k in the 02 tax year. I think those numbers are right. So if you claimed kids and your income falls in those amounts you will get 400 bucks per kid credited back to you. Its kinda like last yrs tax credit to help build up the economy.
