Hey guys, I also posted this same thread in the Memory page.

I am new to OC'ing and need some help. I have bought my new equipment and will have it set up next week. I was wondering if there is any article or guide to overclocking. All I can find are articles that really dont help me much. I know a little about it but it's still a little confusing.

I need to know the process to OC my CPU and Ram. Like: raise fsb 1st then raise the multiplier, or vise versa. Also I need to know do you burn in after you reach your desired speeds.

I just dont want to screw my new stuff up. I have downloaded the programs from the thread in the memory area, so I have something to start with.

Here is my system.

Abit IS7
P4 2.4C @ 800fsb - want over 3.0 OC'd
Zalman 7000cu fan
Corsair XMS PC3500 512 mb single stick
500w PSU Dual fan
Gforce2 GTS 64mb video. Upgrading to ATI 9500 soon
ATA 100 7200 rpm HDD

AIR cooling only.
4 fans. 3 out and 1 in

Any help is greatly appreciated.
